Preparation Preparation for the person who carries out the activity: What is the meaning of “Internet of things”? What does it refer to and whom does it concern? |
|
Description This phrase refers to all devices equipped with chips that are connected to the internet and can thus either be controlled and/or tracked via the internet. At first sight, it is not discernible whether the device is web-enabled or not. You cannot tell simply by looking at a doll or washing machine equipped in such a way. This is why the participants do research on which devices are already web-enabled and which are not.
Variation for groups: Every team/small group does research on different segments, e.g. smart homes, toys (Internet of toys), home appliances, vehicles, etc.
The research results are then published on social media, in the form of posters, etc.
Attention! The topic might be considered as scary. |
